Kick In The Butt BBQ Competition

Nuthin’ But Butt Kickin’ Chili (Green or Red) Contest

1. All teams are invited to enter.  Entry fee is $25.00 for each entry.
2. The contest is open to the public.
3. KCBS rules do not apply.
4. Chili doesn’t need to be prepared on site.
5. Entries will be judged on the following:
   1. Color
   2. Aroma
   3. Flavor
   4. Texture
   5. Aftertaste
6. Please prepare enough for 4 judges (16 ounces).
7. Deliver your entry warm to the Judges tent on Friday at 5pm.
8. Winners will be announced on Friday evening at 8:00pm
9. The winner of the contest will be awarded $100.00

Big Bad John’s Anything Butt Contest

All teams are invited to enter.  The entry fee is $15 for each entry.

1. This contest is not open to the public.
2. Any type of food is permitted (except the 4 KCBS Categories) and must be prepared on site.  All forms of cooking are permitted.
3. KCBS rules do not apply.
4. You may turn in your entry in any type of container, but containers will not be returned.  The container should not be larger than one person can carry.
5. Please prepare enough for 4 judges.
6. Entries will be judged on the following:
   1. Appearance
   2. Flavor
   3. Originality
   4. Creativity
   5. Showmanship
7. Deliver the entry to the Judges Tent on Friday at 6pm.
8. The winner will be announced on Friday evening at 8pm.
9. The winner will be awarded $50.00.

Gold Pan Dessert Contest

All teams are invited to enter.  The entry fee is $15 per entry.

1. The contest is open to the public.
2. KCBS rules do not apply.
3. Contestants may prepare their entry or entries on site.  Entries cannot be purchased from a store, restaurant or your favorite caterer.
4. Please prepare enough for 4 judges.
